Ron Moore
Ruler of the Moola
Arbitrary facts:
- CPA in Ohio since 1999
- Stan State grad
- Holds the Moore family record for standing on his head the longest
- Hobbies include tennis, guitar, tuning his '66 Mustang, chopping firewood and doing Elvis impersonations (he has the lip curl down pat)
- Papa to 3 little rugrats and husband to Tricia
- Avid unicyclist (just in case that CPA thing didn't work out, he knew the circus was always an option)
Ron was raised a poor farm boy, living off the land and a healthy supply of beef Hot Pockets in Modesto, CA. He enrolled at California State University, Stanislaus, known as Stan State, and earned a degree in bean counting. Upon reaching manhood, an event marked by celebratory balloons, diet Fresca, and much lonely weeping, he set out to fulfill his lifelong dream to manifest destiny (and to get hitched) by striking out east in search of new hope and fresh possibilities. Past the Mississippi River, he foresaw an untouched wilderness where he could carve out a stretch of land in the great American frontier for him and his young bride. This dream was promptly shattered when, after taking a wrong turn off I-90, Ron was mugged in Gary, Indiana. Seeing that America's heartland had gone all "Beyond Thunderdome," he instead went with his backup plan: performing stump speeches about auditing and other vulgar financial functions. After exhausting his (admittedly massive) supply of synonyms for accounting, he moved to the proverbial "Gem City" where he eventually finagled his way into Agil IT.
Okay, none of that stuff is true, but let's face it...CPAs just aren't that interesting. As Agil IT's Ruler of the Moola, Ron is our voice of reality as it relates to our financial direction, and we're thrilled to have him as a tribal member.
